7F- Today we talked about Upper and Lower Canada and how both areas were not happy with the way the government was being ran. and how that led to many battles.
8E- Students worked hard today, we finished what the social structure looked like in Spain and Also discussed their political and economic system.
9F- Students started the Chapter 6 project. They are making pocket economy booklets.
7D- Students continued with the rough copy of their chapter project.
8F(double)- Today we looked into The Spanish religious beliefs and practices as well as their arts and culture. Students were given a worksheet to compare the Aztecs and the Spanish together.

8F-Today we talked about the social structure of the Spanish civilization. Tomorrow we will be looking at how their government was organised.
8A-Today we looked at the culture of the Aztecs. We looked at what they did for art, sculpture, fashion and architecture.
7F- Today students finished their rough draft of the war of 1812 portion on the chapter comic strip.
7F-This afternoon we dove into how the population of the British colony in North America grew thanks to the Great Migration. Students learn how all types of people from England, Ireland, Scotland, and even slaves from the United States, made their way into what will become Canada to find a better life for themselves. Students will start the rough draft for this portion of the chapter comic strip tomorrow.

9F- Today we looked at what led to unions in our working society. Students were showed 3 pictures from various time periods showing the horrible working conditions. Students were asked what they saw and why it wasn't a good condition for working. we then went on to discuss what people could do to change their working conditions, strikes! Tomorrow after the Monde en Marche class we will be working on an assignment on Google Classroom that will be inregards to strikes in Canada in the past 10 years. Monde en Marche is due tomorrow!

7F-We started step one of the project - learning about the american revolution. During our second period today we started the rough draft of the comic strip. Students were asked to brainstorm together but to draw out their own comics. They will have another period tomorrow for the rough draft and i will be taking them in to make comments or changes at the end of tomorrows period.
