February 13th 2018 Day 3

Social Studies 7G ( Block 1 & 4)
Today we discussed who the Loyalists were, why they came north to Canada and where they went. We discussed how the influx of English speaking colonists changed the identity of what was a french colony. We looked at how the division of this colony into Upper and Lower Canada was the first step in creating a bilingual country.

PE 8EF ( Block 2)
Today we finished off our 3 on 3 basketball tournament. Tomorrow we will be starting our 5 on 5 tournament!

French Language & Culture (Block 6 & 7)
Today in FLC we Spent 40 minutes working on our Duolingo! We then decided on our partners for our Speaking Project. Then since Valentines Day is tomorrow we learnt some holiday vocabulary, we will be continuing this activity for a few minutes on Friday!
