8F- Today we started the movie ``The Road to El Dorado`` We were cut short due to our Lock-down drill. The 8F students had been informed of the importance to keep silent during the drill. Unfortunately even with reminders the students could not take it seriously. As a result we will no longer be watching the film. After the Lock-Down was finished, students were given the Chapter 9 review booklet and were asked to start reviewing for the test on Wednesday April 29th 2015. We will continue this review on Monday.
8A-Today we have finished our Aztec unit. Students were sent home with their chapter 9 review package for the test that is next Wednesday April 29th 2015. To finish off the Aztec Unit we are watching the Movie "The Road to El Dorado", This movie combines the civilizations of the Aztecs, Mayans and the Incas in a long City of Gold. The Spanish arrive and the story unveils. After viewing students will have an activity to complete.
7F( double)- Today we finished up our Student Vote unit. Students were asked to finish the small workbook for homework. Feel Free to discuss these worksheets with your child as i sure they would love to share what they have learnt while researching the political parties. Chapter 8 will start on Monday!.
Important dates:
- All Japanese community center/village forms must be turned in with payment no later then April 28th 2015.
- Water park forms ( 8F) are due on May 13th. Any students returning forms late will be put on a waiting list.
